This quote has been popular on TikTok and hearing someone say it makes feel like I’m seen. For the past few months, especially during summer break, friends have been a struggle for me. During the school year I’ve always had people I’m comfortable talking to in classes and around the halls, but since summer has come around those people have been cut down to the number of 3. But now I’m feeling like it’s 2.
I’ve had this friend I’ve called my best friend, she’s called me it to. Ever since this week I’ve felt it’s not true. One of my good friends I’ve know since 6th grade has made me know that she doesn’t like my “best friend” has been treating me. A thing I tend to notice I do is put in so much effort forth and haven’t gotten not even half of it in return, something they might do I can acknowledge that it was wrong and not be ok with it but then as soon as they be nice to me, I’m nice to them back and throw all of the other stuff off to the side. That’s my problem. I’ve had two true best friends that called me the same. But every time, I feel like the blue to someone’s green.
